Developed
in 1850 staff is the brain-child of a French artisan. Staff
has since been used to create ornaments, cornices
and moldings, columns and pilasters,
chimneys and decorative end caps,
and ceilings, etc.
Staff
is not only material and a technique for decorating
and embellishing your home; it will also add stylish
comfortable touches to any restoration
and rehabilitation project.

The
process developed over fifty years ago is still in place today.
This method consists of mixing sand
and marble powder into plaster so that it can be used
for exterior applications.
We
have added resin to the plaster in the traditional formula,
thus guarantying greater weather resistance.
This mix is necessary for architectural accents such as windows
or doorframes.

A
false ceiling, can hide imperfections
often found in older homes, it can also mask
visible pipes, diffuse indirect lighting and even, help
to soundproof the room.
|
Staff
offers the architect multiple ways to restore
old houses, and a stylish way to
decorate a modern house. As a building material it could
of course be used in a trendy boutique or a hotel. Mouldings,
friezes, pediments, fake stones, and window frames are
all important elements that can be created with staff.
